Kristin Kirkegaard has been involved with the Delta Choral Society since January 2018. Music is her passion; she started playing piano at 6 years old. Along with piano, Kristin also plays the guitar, drums, flute, and many stringed instruments. Over the years, she has used her musical abilities in various ways, including playing in churches, at different events, teaching guitar, and making music with her musical family.
Kristin has a certificate to be an Education Assistant from Langara College, and a degree from Simon Fraser University with a major in Linguistics and a minor in French. She is currently working as an Education Assistant in the Richmond School District. She is passionate about people with diverse abilities and highlighting their worth and everything that they are capable of.
In her free time, she also enjoys reading, working or volunteering with kids, and trying out any new instruments that she can.
